Everything on this site is assembled from the sources below, each used under its own terms.

nflverse

Schedules and scores, weekly and season player statistics, team statistics, play-by-play, rosters back to 1920, player identities, colleges and headshot links, draft picks and team colours and logos, 1999–2026. Published by the nflverse project under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. nflverse is a community project and is not affiliated with the NFL.

Through nflverse the site also carries: the nflfastR expected-points and win-probability models on every play; NFL participation data (players on the field, formation, personnel, pressure, coverage, 2016 on); FTN Data play charting (2022 on, CC BY-SA 4.0); NFL Next Gen Stats weekly summaries (2016 on); Pro Football Reference advanced statistics, snap counts, combine results and trades; ESPN Total QBR (2006 on); Over The Cap contract summaries; and the league's weekly injury reports, depth charts, weekly rosters and officiating crews. Each remains the work of its publisher.

Wikipedia

Scores, schedules, attendance and standings for 1920–1998 come from Wikipedia's team-season and league-season articles, as do the champions, Super Bowl details, Associated Press awards, Hall of Fame classes and annual statistical leaders for every era. Text and data from Wikipedia are available under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0; the tables derived from it here are offered under the same license. Article links are found through Wikidata and the Wikipedia API. The stories in the “From the vault” line come from Wikipedia's list of nicknamed NFL games and plays and its categories of NFL controversies, NFL plays and American football incidents; each one-sentence summary is Wikipedia's text, under the same license, and links to its article. A “▶ Video” link there opens a video from the NFL's own YouTube channels (NFL Throwback, NFL Films and NFL) on YouTube; so do the Video links on game pages; the videos remain the NFL's.

Logos and photographs

Team logos and player photographs are shown from public links published by nflverse and remain the property of the NFL, its clubs and the photographers. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Football League. A generated, copyright-free badge or silhouette stands in when an image is unavailable or when the site runs in its stylized mode.

In the public image mode, player, stadium and club photographs come from Wikimedia Commons, each under its own free licence (public domain, CC0, CC BY or CC BY-SA) and credited to its author where it appears. The full list is on the photo credits page.
